Sponsored Cycle raises £5k+ for Homeless Charity

Updated: Feb 9, 2023

During September, after months of training a team of nine keen cyclists from Unitrust saddled up to take part in the London to Brighton cycle ride in aid of Homeless Charity Glass Door. Together they raised an incredible £5,553 for the charity. Glass Door is partners with churches and community centres to give shelter and support to people who are homeless in London.

This is the second year that Unitrust employees have taken part in the cycle ride to raise vital funds for the charity.

“We have all enjoyed the experience of getting fitter as well as being able to raise money for such a worthy cause.” said Scott Gough, Managing Director and keen cyclist. “It is heartbreaking that people find themselves in a position where they are homeless and I feel strongly that no one should have to sleep on the street. This is an incredible charity helping to make a difference in so many peoples lives. We will continue to support this charity.”
