MANNED GUARDING
Our high-quality security service provision is reflected in our Security Industry Authority (SIA) ACS and National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold status and the quality of the security officers we provide to our clients. Unitrust currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme status for the provision of Security Guarding and NSI Gold status for the provision of Static Guarding Security Services. All our security officers are employed directly by us and are fully qualified and licensed by the SIA in either security guarding or close protection.
We pride ourselves on presenting our clients with motivated, smartly attired, and intelligent security officers who are trained to act appropriately, think decisively and look for ways where they can add value to their daily roles.
Our security officers are all handpicked through a combination of running a careful recruitment and competency-based selection process, which is backed by a comprehensive ongoing personal training and development plan.
We also operate a higher ratio of Directors, Managers and Supervisors to Security Officers than usually found in the industry. This allows our officers to concentrate on delivery while we have senior personnel in place who can take decisions quickly, responding fast and efficiently to our client’s needs. This approach also ensures we can provide the highest standard of service to our clients.
All our clients benefit from Unitrust’s 24-Hour Control & Monitoring Centre. This is professionally staffed by an experienced team of Duty Managers who are all trained to respond promptly if an emergency or incident occurs. Our Centre is operational 365 days of the year 24/7 and in addition, all clients and security officers can contact a key member of Unitrust’s management team around the clock should the need arise.
FRONT OF HOUSE
Our Reception and Concierge Service provides a warm and professional welcome to your premises. All of our Front of House team are SIA licensed. Our team are experienced customer service hosts who are completely customer oriented.
They are recruited because of their genuine passion for front of house roles and because they have displayed an aptitude for customer service.
As well as providing a secure “meet and greet” service, our front of house team will seamlessly integrate with your own operation. They will represent your brand professionally and ensure the right corporate image is promoted to your staff and visitors.

CLOSE PROTECTION
The provision of close protection officers for Executive Protection is a key specialism of Unitrust.
For many years we have managed security and driver teams for both businesses and families who require the highest personal protection levels. This includes foreign royalty, Senior Company Executives, High Profile Individuals such as Heads of State and household names.
Our client’s requirements may include residential security as well as discrete executive protection, which we are experienced in providing both here in the UK and overseas. We have a proven capability to send large teams of close protection officers to Europe and beyond, to support our clients and their families.
Many of our clients have large estates or private residences and hotels that require temporary close protection services while they are in residence. Our approach is to consult with our clients to first determine the requirements prior to conducting a comprehensive risk assessment and an appropriate mitigation plan. We advise on all logistics, threat assessments and security arrangements. The teams can vary in size from a one-to-one close protection specialist to a full mobile team, with advance parties, bodyguards and rear support depending on the threat level and location. We can be as visible or discrete as needed.
All Unitrust close protection operatives are carefully selected and diligently trained to manage and deter personal risks. They are all SIA licensed in close protection. We only employ the highest calibre of close protection personnel who are recruited mainly from military or police backgrounds.
We can mobilise and assign our close protection team quickly and efficiently, drawing from a deep pool of operatives, security drivers and chauffeurs.
CORPORATE EVENT SECURITY
Our event security experience is extensive covering a broad range of corporate events including high footfall exhibitions, private corporate conferences and AGMs, prestigious art and fashion shows (including the security of precious items borrowed for these events such as jewellery or artwork), private corporate and public sector events and prestigious high-profile red-carpet events.
Depending on your event requirements our experienced security personnel can be deployed in plain clothes, evening dress or high visibility uniform.
Our team of event managers are highly skilled in event security planning and delivery. They work with you to first assess the level of risks and threats associated with your event before advising on a plan to mitigate against them.
