Positive Progress in Representation and Reward at Unitrust

At Unitrust, fairness and equality are not just goals they are core values we live by. Our 2025 Gender Pay Gap report reflects the strength of our ongoing commitment to building an inclusive workplace where everyone is rewarded fairly for the role they do.

We’re proud to report that:

  • Mean pay for women is 11.1% higher than for men

  • Median pay is 4.6% higher for women

  • Mean bonus pay for women is 62% higher

  • Median bonus pay is 43% higher for women

  • 57% of our Senior Leadership Team are women

These results are particularly notable given the context of the security industry, where unsociable hours and operational roles can make it harder to attract women. At Unitrust, we ensure that pay is determined by position not by gender and that all staff at the same site are paid equally.

The increase in female representation particularly within our Head Office and senior leadership roles has contributed to a meaningful shift in our gender pay figures.

We are extremely proud of the progress we have made, but we are not stopping here. We continue to encourage more women to join the security industry and we’re working to achieve a fair gender balance across every part of our organisation.
