Unitrust, in partnership with Cushman and Wakefield, has opened two Safe Havens at St Katharine Docks.

St Katharine Docks is a high footfall area sitting beside some of London’s most iconic landmarks — including the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and the River Thames. It is vibrant, bustling site, home to a busy marina, offices, shops, restaurants, residential flats and a university campus, attracting a high volume of tourists, workers, residents and students every day.

The new Safe Havens form part of a growing London-wide initiative developed by the Safer Business Network and supported by both the City of London Police and Metropolitan Police. These designated areas provide a secure refuge for anyone feeling unsafe or vulnerable — particularly women and girls — offering access to phone charging, water, restroom facilities, and trained staff who can offer help or contact emergency services.

Since January 2024, we have been helping our clients across London create Safe Havens as part of our commitment to the Prevention of Violence Against Women and Girls initiative. Each Safe Haven is carefully set up with DBS-checked personnel and operates under strict guidelines to ensure the highest standards of safety and support.

Special thanks to the dedication and support of the St Katharine Docks team in setting up these two new Safe Havens.
