Unitrust Team supports Glass Door Homeless Charity

On Friday night (9th Oct 2026), four members of our team swapped their beds for sleeping bags to take part in the Big Sleep Out, raising funds and awareness for homelessness charity Glass Door Homeless Charity.

Sarah Griffin, Clare Templeman, Kirsty Lay and Brian Gull woke up on World Homelessness Day, having spent a night outside at the Duke of York Square in London. Together, they experienced in a small way, the discomfort and uncertainty of not having a safe and secure place to call home.

Our team raised over £1,500 for Glass Door and its work supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Sarah Griffin Compliance & ESG Director at Unitrust who has taken part in this event with her team for the last four years said “It’s easy to take having a safe, warm place to sleep for granted. Spending a night outside gives you a small insight into how difficult life is without that security. We are really proud of the team for taking part and helping to raise both money and awareness for such an important cause.”
