Unitrust launches "Food Bank February" to support those in need

Food banks have become a lifeline for many across the UK. With the rising cost of living, more people than ever are relying on their support just to get by.  No one should have to choose between heating their home and putting food on the table. Yet, for thousands of families, workers on low incomes, and people facing unexpected hardship, food banks are the only option. This isn’t about poor choices or bad luck—it’s about circumstances that could affect any one of us.

At Unitrust, we believe in doing what we can to help. Throughout February, we are setting up collection points at our client sites to gather essential supplies for those in need.  We will be dropping off the collections to various food banks.

Sarah Griffin, Compliance & ESG Director at Unitrust said "No one should have to rely on a food bank to feed themselves or their family, but for many, it has become a necessity rather than a last resort. At Unitrust, we believe in supporting our communities in whatever way we can, and Food Bank February is our way of taking action. By coming together, we can help ensure that no one has to face hunger alone."
